Alex now faced with Hayley froze she couldnt talk, she just staired at Hayley like a lost child "Why?" She finally spoke and lowered her hand "Why are....why did..." Alex stuttered and gazed at Hayley

"You need to be clearer in what you want to know my Alex" I replied in a slightly strained voice. "There are many answers to a simple Why" I added looking at her and how much she had grown in the years we had been apart. "You haven't changed much in the years" I complimented.

Alex simply got angry at her, Alex rushed Hayley fist clenched and landed it into the side of Hayley's head angrily

I moved to the side slightly and brought my hand up to block the blow. My movement was strained because of the gravity around the area, it wanted me to fall but I refused to show weakness. "my, my. A bit too angry aren't we?" I asked and strained a kick into her stomach sending her a couple of feet away from me.

Alex stumbled backwards and growled, the heat in the ground and air began to lift as Alex gleared at Hayley till the grass and trees began to catch fire, at the time Alex and Hayley met she was young Hayley's affection had been the first in Alex's young life and now the anger clouded her sense before she stood up straight and flicked out her hand snapping her fingers shot a deadly accurate bolt of fire at Hayley before Alex was knocked off balance as the sound of a buzzing noise ontop of her snapped her out of her trance before the pain. as the bugs stinger entered her torso Alex yelped before burning the bug to ash instantly

I slowed my breathing as the air grew hotter, I ignored the fire that started and watched as Alex was about to attack me once again. 'Oh Alex' I thought and stood there calmly. I watched as a few of my bugs came out of the trees that was now on fire and as Alex attacked I spun out of the way. When I turned around again I saw Alex get stung before she killed the creature. I felt my heart start to beat faster in panic but ignored the feeling as I took a step toward her. "You shouldn't have come here Alex. Your now going to be the barrier of 20 more of my creatures." I told her since I knew no one had a cure for one who had been stung.

"Then it was your fault" Alex said and collapsed to her knees "I hope the guilt kills you one day" Alex laughed as she held her side and before the sound of the Grasshoppers engines closing in on the park rang through the streets

"Who says I feel guilt anymore?" I asked her and knelt near her. "Why did you come Alex? you should have taken the chance on that planet to leave this be" I asked and pulled the stinger out of her side. I ignored the sound of the ship for the moment since more of my bugs kept it busy for a few more minutes.

"Take your hands off me" Alex growled and grabbed her wrist her hand burned into Hayley's wrist as she smiled "Something to remember me by" Alex said with a weak grin and pulled Hayley closer to look into her eyes as Alex's went black as she invaded Hayley's mind to get her Answers before she lost consciousnesses

When Alex fell back I looked at the burn she left on my wrist. I didn't know what she saw and I hoped it wasn't what happened to me during my captivity. No one needed to know of those days especially not my Alex. I looked down at her and felt my heart constrict before pulling out a small box from one of my other pockets and pulled out a syringe with blue liquid in it. I injected it into the spot she was stung in and pushed the liquid in. "Take this last Chance Alex and leave" I muttered pulling the needle away and placed it back in the box with the other antidote for the bugs sting. I looked up to the ship before heading out of the area quickly while calling off the bugs that attacked the ship.

While a new ship was being build by the swarm I kept an eye on the nest. A large underground bunker with millions of infected people inside it. they were the bearers of a new strain of bug one which was smaller then their parents but deadlier. i sat back in a throne like chair and lifted one of the new children to see, it was beetle like in shape and black. Using the moon as an experimentation ground I found that these new creatures would first eat crops and vegetation then when it was all gone turn into carnivores searching out the creatures and people left on the planet and just like their creators they would use the people as a food source and incubators for their children. "Once the ship had completed we will continue on our path" I started to the room and listened to the buzz of excitement.

It took the Hiigarans awhile to move into Republic Space. Under the watchful eyes of Admiral Reikshelm the the fleet stationed itself in the midrim, scout ships and destroyers were sent to patrol every system, a watchful eye waiting for the swarm to strike again.
Alex spent her recovery aboard the Grasshopper, in corporate space they Red Star corp studied, unlike the plan by the millitaries of the verse to simply blast the bugs into non exsistance the corps had found a better way....poison.

Leaving the hive I moved to the surface of the planet, looking up to the sky i wondered why Alex had followed me. Her questions didn't make sense although I knew one of them was most likely why was i doing this. Why was it me who was what the news called 'the destroyer of worlds'. I didn't know the answer even if she hadn't been stung and was coherent in her questions. I looked over to were the ship was being built and nodded at how large it was. It was almost ready to be filled and ready to fly to a new world.

Alex awoke, she was broken, quiet, the Grasshopper set off to run the smuggling routes Alex sat in the pilot's seat and flew the Grasshopper, the stars were calming even if she supressed the massive well of anger she had, on their layovers in star ports Alex took more and more to drink and ended up fighting with others. Her pilot skills had not dulled but a bit of her died on Titainous
